Physically, C11000 t2 copper pipe exhibits a tensile strength of at least 275 MPa and an elongation of at least 5% (within 10 mm before break), and at least 10% elongation (within 5 mm before break). It should be noted that C11000 is susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement in reducing media containing hydrogen, the so-called "hydrogen disease", and therefore should not be processed or used at temperatures above 370 degrees Celsius or in reducing media. Its strength increases at temperatures below -250 degrees Celsius.
